MLB round up: Designated hitter and Center Fielder sets Dodgers rolling with another milestone.

Shohei Ohtani and Andy Pages each hit milestone home runs as the Los Angeles Dodgers wrapped up a challenging homestand with a commanding 10-0 victory over the New York Mets on Sunday.

Tyler Glasnow (4-1) demonstrated control, striking out 10 batters over eight innings as the Dodgers secured only their third win during the recently completed nine-game homestand, which saw them lose all three series. Despite this win, Los Angeles has struggled, managing just a 3-7 record since April 10.

Ohtani’s home run in the third inning marked a significant milestone, breaking Hideki Matsui’s record for the most home runs by a Japanese-born player in MLB history, with 176. Meanwhile, Pages hit his first career home run in just his fifth game.
